Pim van Lommel
Dr. Pim van Lommel (born 1943) is a Dutch cardiologist who published one of the largest NDE studies in The Lancet (2001), following 344 cardiac arrest survivors.
18% reported NDEs. He concluded consciousness may continue independently of brain function.
